Mindfulness & Inference Based-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Building a foundation of Mindfulness paired with I-CBT interventions helps start your journey by becoming present in the moment. Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing techniques focus on engaging your mindful awareness to intentionally tune into your body, become fully present with and compassionate towards your human experience. Learning to become embodied helps you regulate your nervous system while reducing symptoms such as dissociation, numbing and panic. SE will also help you regain safety and comfort within your body while increasing self-control.

Exposure & Response Prevention

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the leading researched based approach to treat OCD. It is a practice of structured, gradual exposure to situations that trigger someones obsessions or compulsions in a safe environment. This process includes building a foundation of coping skills and exploration of individualized stressors to create a plan of action to safely apply learned techniques and experience reduced symptoms and increased confidence in emotional regulation.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy supports you in creating more flexibility in how you process information and experiences. Acceptance is used to accept not only your thoughts but circumstances as they are, as well. Commitment is used to help you focus your actions intentionally. Learning your values, beliefs and affirming what is happening in reality can help you let go and move forward instead of staying stuck in thought patterns, habits or dynamics that do not serve you. This can be used to treat a variety of experiences such as anxiety, OCD and trauma.
