At Experience Wellness, Ashley Johns Hinder, LCSW, LCSW-C works with Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Codependency in adult individuals of all identities. She is passionate about providing a gentle, impartial space for you to finally slow down, process and find real solutions to resolve what has kept you stuck. When working with her you will learn to:
— Address anxiety in all of its forms; negative or obsessive thinking, trouble focusing, compulsive and repetitive behaviors, feeling lazy/no motivation, avoidance, anger, relationship conflicts, sleep disruptions, disorganization, headaches and body aches and, digestive trouble.
— Stop obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors in their tracks with a structured exposure approach, while prioritizing your safety and well-being.
— Apply mind and body techniques to calm yourself when overstimulated helping you replace poor ways of coping like shutting down, lashing out or using substances to numb. Increase your ability to better manage stress, conflict and uncertainty.
—Practice communication skills to stop saying “yes” when you mean “no”, set boundaries with yourself and others, find compromise to help you quit repeating the same arguments and show up with confidence in yourself and in your relationships.
